Description -Full itinerary
Bhutan, known as the land of the Thunder Dragon, is considered one of the most unique travel destinations. It is one of the few remaining Buddhist kingdoms globally. The country is characterized by its Himalayan landscape and cultural heritage. Bhutan has implemented a tourism policy designed to balance economic development with environmental and cultural preservation. This approach results in limiting the number of visitors allowed through regulatory and taxation measures. Travelers in Bhutan experience tours in 4WD vehicles and can expect authentic Bhutanese hospitality in rural and natural settings while enjoying modern amenities. Visitors are also supported by trained personal guides and drivers. Key attractions include mountainous landscapes, Buddhist architecture, religious festivals, and friendly locals. STT offers an 8-day Bhutan Remote Village Safari Trip for those interested in exploring the remote countryside.
